In 2004, the group took its first steps into foreign markets, starting to export bananas from Yemen to Saudi Arabia, laying the foundations for international trade.

Entering the automotive sector

The group expanded its activities into the automobile trade, where it began marketing used European cars in Yemen and Djibouti, which strengthened its position as a major player in the automobile market.

Import tires

The group added a new activity by importing car tires from Dubai, which helped it meet the needs of the local market in this field.

Agricultural and industrial expansion

The group opened a new branch in Al Ghaydah city in Al Mahrah Governorate, where it launched the “Al Bustan Refrigerator for Freezers and Cooling” project. It also expanded into marketing agricultural products such as bananas and mangoes.

Import of food

In a move to meet the needs of the Yemeni market, the group began importing food products from the Sultanate of Oman, with its operations covering more than 20 food items.

Real estate and oil diversification

The group witnessed a qualitative transformation by entering the field of oil marketing in the local market, in addition to expanding its activity in buying and selling real estate, which strengthened its position in the real estate market.

Manufacturing and Beverages

The group established a plastic can factory to meet the needs of the local market, and launched its own drink under the name “Taste”, which achieved wide acceptance.

Investment in Tourism

The group has entered the tourism sector strongly by establishing projects such as:

• Al Burj Hotel & Restaurant.
• Al Bustan Furnished Apartments.
• "Distinguished Taste" Fast Food Restaurant.

Expanding into paints and opening a branch in the Sultanate of Oman

In August 2020, the group launched a new business under the name “Global Car Paints”, which has become a prestigious name in the market. It also opened a new branch in the Sultanate of Oman under the name “Al Saad Pioneer Investment Projects”, headquartered in South Mawaleh, Muscat. The branch’s activities included:

• Import and export of solar energy.
• Trading of electric generators.
• Import of paints and food products.
• Establishment of “Traveler Rest House” restaurant and cold storage.

International partnerships

The group has strengthened its international position by signing agreements with European companies specializing in the fields of energy, electrical materials and paints, which has contributed to diversifying its sources and enhancing its competitiveness.

Pioneering frozen chicken import

The group has become a pioneer in importing frozen chicken to Yemen via Salalah Port, reflecting its commitment to meeting the needs of the Yemeni market with the highest quality standards.
